Revelation...I love weekends!!!! Okay, I know that just about the whole world does too, so.................
Well, I love weekends because it gives me that little bit of extra time to be inventive in the kitchen, and do some surfing on the net or catch-up reading. Well one out of three isn't too bad for this weekend I guess......no surfing or reading of books seeing as how I was attempting to become a master 'blogger'! Ha!
But I did get creative in the kitchen for lunch today. And it wasn't at all time consuming, because yesterday I had already made the famous Noels cheese spread/dip/'whatever-your-little-heart-wants-to-call-it'. Why yesterday you ask? (I am as blind as a bat without my glasses but have excellent hearing....just you remember that, okay). Anyway.....I always do this extra quantity because I can then use this to flavour vegetables, layer on a piece of toast with some added bacon, dollop into a freshly baked potato, seeing as how all commercial sauces, dips etc are now banned in our household. It won't go off in that time and is full of all the 'allowed ingredients'. And there are a multitude of ways to use the spreads/dips as I hope to demonstrate over future weeks.
And..sorry to disappoint all of you but the recipes will have to wait for next time, as I need to share something with you before this happens.
